According to Hainan Railway, a new round of train operation schedule adjustment for the Hainan Ring High-Speed Railway will be implemented on March 7. Driven by the "bus-oriented operation mode" of intercity trains, the travel experience of passengers on the island will be comprehensively enhanced, injecting new transportation momentum into the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

The specific details of this schedule adjustment are as follows:
1. 12 pairs of ring trains will be operated on the Hainan Ring High-Speed Railway;
2. 55.5 pairs of trains will run from Haikou and Haikou East to Sanya on the eastern section of the Hainan Ring High-Speed Railway;
3. 13 pairs of trains will run from Haikou to Sanya on the western section of the Hainan Ring High-Speed Railway.
After this schedule adjustment, the number of intercity trains operated daily during peak hours on the Hainan Ring High-Speed Railway has increased to 80.5 pairs, an increase of 17 pairs compared with the previous period.
Among them, 47 pairs of new trains with stops between Haikou East and Sanya on the eastern section of the Hainan Ring High-Speed Railway have been added. The train numbers start with C73XX, and the shortest interval between trains is only 10 minutes, basically enabling passengers to board the train upon arrival.
The number of direct trains between Haikou East and Sanya has increased from 1.5 pairs to 4.5 pairs. The train numbers are D7585, D7587, D7589, D7586, D7588, D7590, C8030, C8032, and C8037. The fastest one-way commute takes only 1 hour and 25 minutes, further improving the travel efficiency of passengers.
Since March 7, 2025, the "C" and "S" -prefixed EMU trains on the Hainan Ring High-Speed Railway have implemented a bus-oriented operation plan. Tickets are valid for one-time use on the day of issue (except for the 3 pairs of D-prefixed direct trains between Haikou East and Sanya on the eastern section of the Hainan Ring High-Speed Railway). During peak travel periods such as weekends and holidays, stations can organize ticket sales according to the actual situation of the day and the train number.
The railway department reminds passengers that they can query the train operation information and service details after the schedule adjustment through the 12306.cn website or the mobile client. They can also pay attention to the dynamic information released by the railway department and the announcements at the railway stations to arrange their trips reasonably.
