Patterns are the classic design language of Li Brocade. For this collection, Véronique Leroy reimagined iconic Li motifs such as the puppy pattern, the Gangong bird, the pigeon pattern, and the traditional "Hercules" design, integrating them into three-dimensional garment structures. By blending her signature earthy and soft gray tones with techniques like distortion, enlargement, and deconstruction, she created a collection that merges Eastern charm with French elegance.
Founded in Paris in 1991, Véronique Leroy’s eponymous brand quickly established itself in the international fashion scene. Known for her distinct visual designs and innovative fabric use, her work embodies both timeless French elegance and the independent spirit of urban women.
Following the show, two intangible cultural heritage inheritors from Wuzhishan City demonstrated Li Brocade weaving techniques, allowing attendees to witness the ancient craft’s intricate skills and cultural depth firsthand. This further solidified the impression of Chinese traditional ethnic culture among international fashion professionals.

Véronique Leroy has recently focused on the "movement" of hand-weaving in Li Brocade production, infusing this subtle rhythm into garment structures to breathe new life into the ancient craft. Additionally, the brand collaborated with weavers from Wuzhishan’s Li Brocade International Training Program to create unique lifestyle products like 抱枕 (bolsters) by combining hand-woven brocade with kapok.
The head of Li Brocade Elements (Hainan) Technology Co., Ltd., which facilitated Li Brocade’s Paris Fashion Week debut, stated that Li Brocade’s unique value has drawn numerous fashion designers. The company is currently promoting its commercial development through branding and internationalization. It has also established a Li Brocade pattern database and collaborated with major fashion brands for secondary pattern creation and commercial exploitation.

Last September, Hainan’s Li Brocade also participated in Paris Fashion Week events. During that show, international designers unveiled the 2025 Spring-Summer "LA Li" collection, developed through exchanges with Wuzhishan’s Li Brocade International Training Program. Inspired by Wuzhishan’s tropical rainforest vegetation and diverse wildlife, the collection introduced 10 independently designed Li Brocade fabrics, marking the official entry of Li Brocade into the global market.
